Warranty Policy

Specta Life Pty Ltd will gladly replace any goods that are delivered to their destination in a faulty or damaged condition. Customers must lodge a notification of their intention to return a good to the Customer Service Department within 24 hours of the product’s delivery. The Customer Service Department can be contacted via e-mail at info@spectablend.com.au and will provide instructions as to how to return the product to:

When contacting Customer Service, please provide the following information:

  • Order Number
  • Reason for Return
  • Name
  • Delivery Address
  • Daytime contact number
  • Photo attachment for email (if product is damaged)

REFUND WITHIN 30 DAYS

Spectablend will exchange/refund any unused undamaged products within 30 days of the purchase transaction if the product is returned in its original packaging (without writing on the box etc- must be re sent in a separate master box) and is submitted with proof of purchase (tax invoice/receipt, and/or packaging slip).

Spectablend does not reimburse delivery and handling charges where a customer has made an incorrect choice regarding a product, and customers returning products do so at their own cost and risk. We also ask that you include a note explaining the reason for the product return, together with a daytime contact telephone number so that our Customer Service Department can contact you.

Our friendly staff will be in contact to organize a refund where Spectablend is unable to replace or exchange returned goods. Refunds will be reimbursed by same payment method used in original purchase.

Standard Extended Warranty – Summary

Spectablend offers a limited 3 year warranty out of the box. Our dedicated service centre is the most experienced in Australia.

Standard Extended Limited Warranty Terms & Conditions for Spectablend BL-001 Blenders

1. We warranty this appliance to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and to perform satisfactorily in household use for a period of 3 years for the motor and 1 year for the full machine, from the date of purchase when used in accordance with the accompanying instruction book. Service fee applies at $99 each service and can be purchased here after warranty period ends.

2. WHO CAN SEEK WARRANTY COVERAGE

This warranty is extended by Specta Life Pty Ltd (Spectablend) to the owner of this machine for personal household use only. The warranty does not apply to products used for commercial, rental or resale purposes. Should ownership of the machine change during the warranty period, please update the machine’s owner information by emailing info@spectablend.com.au.

3. WHAT IS COVERED

Spectablend Australia warrants to the owner that if this machine (a “machine” consists of a motor blender base and any containers purchased together) fails within the warranty time periods defined in Item 1 above due to a defect in material or workmanship or as a result of normal wear and tear from ordinary household use, Specta Life Pty Ltd will, within 10 days of receipt of the returned product, repair or replace the failed machine or component part of the machine free of charge.

4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not apply to machines that have been used commercially or in non-household applications. This Warranty does not cover cosmetic changes that do not affect performance, such as discoloration of parts of the product in the hands of the user or the effects of the use of abrasive cleaners or food build up will not be warranted or considered defects. This warranty does not cover the supplied tamper or the results of using the tamper without the supplied lid, or the introduction of any other non-food item into the machine during operation. Spectablend will not be responsible for the cost of any unauthorized warranty repairs.

5. WHAT VOIDS THIS WARRANTY

Abuse, misuse, negligent use, alteration of the machine, exposure to abnormal or extreme conditions, or failure to follow the operating & care instructions will void this Warranty. This warranty is also void if repairs to the machine or any component part of the Machine are performed by someone without prior authorisation by Specta Life Pty Ltd or if any component part of a machine subject to this warranty is used in combination with a motor base or container that is not expressly a branded Spectablend part.

6. HOW TO OBTAIN RETURN AUTHORIZATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY

In the event that the Machine or any component part of the Machine needs service or repair, please contact us at www.spectablend.com.au. The purchaser will be asked to provide proof of purchase for the machine and may be required to send images of the defect. 

7. CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
